Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup mix di mana indeks Dow Jones ditutup menguat sedangkan indeks S&P500 dan Nasdaq Composite ditutup melemah. Pasar menantikan data nonfarm payrolls yang akan dirilis nanti malam. Pasar mengharapkan data tersebut cukup lemah sehingga akan membuat The Fed segera menurunkan suku bunga pada tahun ini. Sementara itu seperti yang diharapkan, European Central Bank menurunkan suku bunga untuk pertama kalinya sejak tahun 2019, sebesar 0,25% menjadi 3,75%. Pertemuan The Fed selanjutnya pada pekan depan yang diperkirakan masih akan mempertahankan suku bunga tetap, namun prediksi penurunan suku bunga pada pertemuan September nanti semakin meningkat. Ekspektasi itu memicu penguatan pada harga minyak mentah dan emas.

IHSG pada perdagangan Kamis 6 Juni 2024 ditutup menguat 0,39% pada level 6974. Saham sektor basic material membukukan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor infrastruktur mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp592,03 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non regular. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6940/6920 dan resistance 7000/7030. Stock pick: BBRI, BMRI, BBTN, BBCA, TLKM, INDF, ICBP, NCKL
