Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah cukup signifikan akibat koreksi pada saham Apple yang mendorong pelemahan saham sektor teknologi. Pelemahan saham Apple disebabkan oleh penurunan penjualan iPhone di China. Sementara itu pemerintah China mengumumkan target pertumbuhan ekonomi tahun ini sebesar 5% serta menerbitkan obligasi negara jangka panjang senilai USD138,9 juta untuk membiayai beberapa proyek besar. OPEC+ sepakat untuk memperpanjang pemangkasan produksi sebanyak 2,2 juta barel per hari hingga kuartal II. Harga emas berlanjut menguat di tengah menguatnya harapan akan penurunan suku bunga The Fed pada bulan Juni serta meningkatnya permintaan akan safe haven akibat konflik di Timur Tengah.

IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 5 Maret 2024 ditutup melemah 0,40% pada level 7247. Saham sektor properti mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor energi membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp765,04 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7225/7197 dan resistance 7270/7290. Stock pick: BBRI, BMRI, BBCA, AKRA, PGAS, UNTR, TBIG
