Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah akibat kekhawatiran akan meningkatnya ketegangan politik di Timur Tengah. Pasar cemas dengan potensi pembalasan Israel terhadap serangan Iran serta potensi meluasnya konflik tersebut yang dapat berdampak terhadap ekonomi. Harga minyak mentah kembali menguat di tengah kekhawatiran akan terganggunya suplay minyak mentah jika konflik meluas. Sementara itu data initial claims pekan lalu menunjukkan jumlah klaim pengangguran yang sedikit lebih banyak dari perkiraan. Harga emas cenderung stabil, penguatan dollar AS membatasi penguatan harga emas karena kenaikan permintaan akan safe haven. Pasar akan menantikan data nonfarm payrolls yang akan dirilis nanti malam.

IHSG pada perdagangan Kamis 3 Oktober 2024 ditutup melemah 0,26% pada level 7543. Saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor consumer cyclical membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp1,10 triliun termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7500/7460 dan resistance 7580/7630. Stock pick: BMRI, BBNI, BBCA, BRIS, ASII, HRUM, AALI, INDF, UNTR
