Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat tipis. Sentimen negatif dari meningkatnya ketegangan politik di Timur Tengah masih membebani indeks. Sentimen negatif tersebut menambah ketidakpastian pasar dan membuat investor memilih aset yang lebih rendah risikonya. Harga minyak mentah sempat berlanjut menguat sehingga mendorong kenaikan pada saham sektor energi. Namun harga minyak mentah mengalami sedikit koreksi pada pagi ini. Sementara itu data ADP Employment bulan September menunjukkan penyerapan tenaga kerja sektor swasta yang lebih baik dari perkiraan. Pasar juga menantikan data nonfarm payrolls yang akan dirilis akhir pekan ini.

IHSG pada perdagangan Rabu 2 Oktober 2024 ditutup melemah 1,03% pada level 7563. Saham sektor transportasi mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor basic material membukukan kenaikan terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp662,59 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7525/7500 dan resistance 7600/7630. Stock pick: BBCA, ASII, HRUM, INDY, ADMR, MDKA, AALI, LSIP, TPIA, MEDC, ELSA, INCO, ANTM
