Market Review and Prediction

Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup mix pada hari pertama perdagangan tahun 2024, dimana indeks Dow Jones ditutup menguat tipis, sedangkan indeks S&P500 dan Nasdaq Composite ditutup melemah. Pelemahan indeks antara lain dipicu oleh aksi profit taking dan kenaikan yield US-Treasury. Koreksi saham Apple lebih dari 3%, mendorong tekanan pada Nasdaq Composite. Sedangkan penguatan pada saham sektor defensif seperti Johnson & Johnson dan Merck. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah bergerak fluktuatif di tengah meningkatnya ketegangan di Laut Merah, turunnya produksi minyak AS, serta kecemasan akan lemahnya permintaan minyak mentah dari China. Sedangkan harga emas melemah akibat penguatan dollar AS.

IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 2 Januari 2024 ditutup menguat 0,70% pada level 7323. Saham sektor transportasi membukukan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor kesehatan mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp463,13 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler.
Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7300/7260 dan resistance 7350/7370. Stock pick: BMRI, BBRI, BBNI, BBTN, BBCA, ASII, ADMR, ADRO, SMGR, AKRA, TLKM, EXCL, TOWR, TBIG, BRPT, PGEO, ESSA
