Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup variatif di mana indeks Dow Jones dan S&P500 ditutup menguat sedangkan Nasdaq Composite ditutup melemah. Sebelumnya ketiga indeks utama bursa Wall Street tersebut sempat melemah, namun kemudian rebound menjelang penutupan sesi, namun Nasdaq Composite ditutup melemah. Yield US-Treasury dengan tenor dua tahun naik hingga di atas level 3,5%, yang merupakan level tertinggi sejak November 2007. Investor berdebat apakah indeks akan kembali menguji level terendah bulan Juni pada September ini, yang secara historis mencatat kinerja buruk bagi indeks. Pasar menantikan data nonfarm payrolls yang akan dirilis nanti malam.

IHSG pada perdagangan Kamis 1 September 2022 ditutup melemah 0,35% pada level 7153. Saham sektor teknologi mencatatkan koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor energi membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing net sell Rp384,67 miliar, termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7135/7070 dan resistance 7210/7230.
