Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat dan Nasdaq Composite ditutup pada level tertinggi. Indeks PCE prices sebesar 0,3% mom dan 2,4% mom, sesuai dengan estimasi. Untuk indeks PCE prices inti tercatat sebesar 0,4% mom dan 2,8% yoy, juga sesuai dengan estimasi. Sementara itu data pending home sales bulan Januari secara tak terduga turun 4,9%, sedangkan estimasinya naik 2%. Penurunan ini akibat naiknya tingkat suku bunga KPR. Selama bulan Februari 2024 lalu indeks Dow Jones menguat 2,22% mom, indeks S&P500 naik 5,17% mom dan Nasdaq Composite meningkat 6,12% mom.

IHSG pada perdagangan Kamis 29 Februari 2024 ditutup melemah 0,17% pada level 7316. Saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor basic material membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp640,27 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Selama bulan Februari 2024 lalu, IHSG menguat 1,5% mom, sedangkan pada periode Januari-Februari 2024 IHSG menguat 0,6% ytd.
