Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah akibat meningkatnya kekhawatiran akan virus omicron dan komentar Chairman The Fed Jerome Powell mengenai tapering. Moderna memprediksi bahwa vaksinnya kurang efektif melawan varian omicron dan memerlukan waktu beberapa bulan untuk mengembangkan dan mendistribusikan vaksin khusus omicron. Dalam penampilannya di hadapan komite senat, Powell menyatakan The Fed akan mendiskusikan untuk mempercepat pengurangan program pembelian obligasi pada pertemuan Desember ini. Powell menyatakan bahwa saat ini ekonomi sangat kuat dan inflasi sangat tinggi, sehingga The Fed mempertimbangkan akan mempercepat tapering beberapa bulan lebih awal dari yang diprediksikan sebelumnya. Komentar Powell tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa The Fed akan lebih fokus dalam mengatasi inflasi dan dampaknya daripada potensi akan adanya gangguan aktivitas ekonomi akibat varian baru. Yield US-Treasury dan harga minyak mentah melemah akibat kekhawatiran akan dampak varian baru terhadap ekonomi. Sedangkan harga emas melemah akibat komentar Powell.
IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 30 November 2021 ditutup melemah 1,125% pada level 6533. Saham sektor industri mengkontribusikan koreksi terbesar. Sedangkan saham sektor transportasi membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing net sell Rp973,13 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6510/6480 dan resistance 6650/6690. Stock pick: TLKM, INDF, ICBP, BBCA, TBIG, ADRO, ITMG
