Indeks di bursa Wall Street kembali ditutup menguat. Saham sektor energi membukukan penguatan terbesar seiring dengan berlanjutnya kenaikan harga minyak mentah setelah kapal tanker menghindari Laut Merah karena meningkatnya serangan militan yang mengganggu rute pelayaran internasional. Sentimen positif dari pekan lalu mengenai ekspektasi The Fed akan menurunkan suku bunga pada tahun depan, juga masih menjadi faktor positif bagi pergerakan indeks di Wall Street. Harga emas menguat seiring dengan pelemahan dollar AS dan yield US-Treasury.

IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 19 Desember 2023 ditutup menguat 0,96% pada level 7187. Saham sektor infrastruktur membukukan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor properti menjadi satu-satunya sektor yang melemah. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp194,62 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7155/7125 dan resistance 7215/7250. Stock pick: BBRI, BBCA, BMRI, BRIS, INAF, KLBF, INDF, ACES, ADRO, ADMR
