Market Review and Prediction:

Indeks di bursa Wall Street kembali ditutup menguat di mana Nasdaq Composite ditutup pada level tertinggi. Saham-saham teknologi memimpin penguatan indeks. Chairman The Fed Jerome Powell melakukan testimoni di hadapan Kongres mengenai tanggapan bank sentral terhadap pandemi. Pernyataannya mendukung gagasan bahwa The Fed siap untuk segera mulai membahas penghapusan beberapa langkah stimulus yang belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya yang diberlakukan selama pandemi. Namun Powell menegaskan kembali niat The Fed untuk mendorong pemulihan pasar kerja AS yang luas dan inklusif serta tidak menaikkan suku bunga terlalu cepat hanya berdasarkan ketakutan akan inflasi yang akan datang. Powell juga kembali menyatakan bahwa kenaikan inflasi adalah efek sementara dan akan kembali pada level 2% dalam jangka panjang. Pernyataan Powell tersebut mendorong penurunan yield obligasi pemerintah AS dengan tenor 10 tahun dan dollar AS. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah terkoreksi akibat OPEC+ membahas untuk menaikkan produksi minyak mentah.
IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 22 Juni 2021 ditutup menguat 1,53% pada level 6087, setelah dibuka melemah hingga level terendah harian pada level 6006. Saham sektor basic materials membukukan kenaikan terbesar. Investor asing net sell Rp472,42 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6070/6050 dan resistance 6114/6132. Stock pick: BBRI, BMRI, CTRA, SMRA, JPFA, ICBP
